Céline Dion, 56, and her younger companion spark romance rumors in fiery photos. You might want to sit down before you see him.

INTERESTING

Céline Dion has been without her husband and manager René Angélil for eight years, but the renowned singer has made it clear that she is not ready to move on.

Rumors about Céline’s love life have circulated for years, as is often the case with the most famous celebrities, but it seems that she remains loyal to the only man she has ever kissed.

The relationship between Dion and Angélil has unusual beginnings, to say the least.

Angélil met her when she was only 12 years old.

At that time, Angélil was 26 years older than her and played a significant role in her life when he agreed to become her manager, reportedly remortgaging his house to help make Céline a star.

And, of course, she became a star.

In fact, the artist has credited much of her success to Angélil’s mentoring; he was the driving force behind her rise to fame, making her one of the best singers in the world.

Céline developed feelings for her manager during her rapid rise to fame and stated in her autobiography,

“Céline Dion: My Story, My Dream,” that she “never dared to tell him that I dreamed of him every night.”

In April 1988, Dion expressed her feelings to Angélil.

“I threw myself into his arms.

Later that night, I sat at the head of the bed, my legs hidden under the blanket.

‘I was happy to be alone with the man I loved,’ she wrote.

Four years later, Dion and Angélil made their relationship public, and the couple married in a lavish ceremony in 1994.

Unfortunately, Angélil was diagnosed with throat cancer in 1999, and he died in 2016 after a heroic nearly 20-year battle.

His death, of course, left a void in Dion’s life that has never been satisfactorily filled, as the singer has unequivocally stated that she is not looking for love.

“I’m not dating.

I don’t have a boyfriend,” she revealed in an interview with USA Today.

“That doesn’t mean I won’t find someone in my life.

If I do, that would be great.

If not, it’s okay; I still love.”

She continued,

“René is still with me.

Every day, I see him through the eyes of my children.

I love life and consider myself extremely lucky to have three wonderful sons.

“But I keep everything open.”

Nevertheless, much has been speculated about Céline’s love life in recent years, with particular attention to a younger man she has been seen with publicly on several occasions.

Dion’s close relationship with said person sparked reports that she had found a new romantic interest.

Despite her battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome, the 56-year-old has denied the rumors and clarified that the person in question, Pepe Muñoz, is a confidant and friend.

Dion said of Muñoz in 2022:

“He is my best friend.”

She went on to say that he is gay and became her backup dancer in 2017.

“He has done so much for me, even just holding my hand,” Dion recalled.

“I hadn’t hugged a man who is 6’3” in a long time…

It was fantastic.

So there you have it, folks.

In case you were wondering, it seems Dion has not found a new flame.

We wish her all the best in her ongoing rehabilitation and hope to see her back on stage soon.
