A Man Built a 10-Story House on Six Trees

TALENT

When they were young, many dreamed of building their own treehouse.

Some even managed to make this dream a reality.

But we can assure you that no one has ever succeeded in building a house like the one we are going to talk about today.

Horace Burgess originally planned to build a small hut in a tree, but during construction, he became so carried away that the result of his work was a ten-story house.

The entire design of the building is Horace’s own, and he was also the sole builder of his skyscraper.

At first, the materials used for construction were old, unwanted planks and leftover pieces from other houses.

But as the project began to take on a grander scale, neighbors stepped in and generously shared some construction materials.

This structure is truly astonishing.

Imagine, it has 80 fully functional rooms, a basketball court, and even a church.

Horace took care of all the stairs and balconies, of which there are many.

The fire inspection declared it unsafe to live in such a structure, so it was, of course, prohibited to reside there.

However, Horace is confident about its safety; he lives happily in this fabulous house and takes great pride in knowing that he built it himself.
