A true animal lover puts himself in danger to help a dog in desperate need of help. The dog was fighting for his life, while he had entered a frozen pond, «he almost certainly could not stand it» until help came.
But a stranger appeared and saved the dog. The moment was caught in a number of photos, showing that some people are capable to pass more and more for the love of animals.
Although it was quite cold outside, Don Chatten was walking with his two dogs in Buffalo, New York. As usual, they were in Elikot Creek Park when a woman approached Don for help. She could not find her dog, she was desperate. The friendly boy Don immediately rushed to help. And it did not take long for the man to notice the little dog.
The poor thing was struggling to keep his head afloat into the icy pond next to them.
Don immediately realized that the dog was in real danger, so he called 911. However, he thought it might be too late for the unfortunate dog to come to the rescue, so he took action.
He initially tried to crawl over the icy, but it broken under his weight. But Don did not give up, and somehow he reached the dog and take him out of water.
«The dog noticed something in the water, a duck or something, and started chasing it,» Don told WKBW News. » I knew it wasn’t real deep in this part because I used to come here when I was a child.»
